We were proud to have our CEO, Francois Leger, speak at the 2026 Animal Agriculture Alliance Stakeholders Summit a few weeks ago. Francois presented alongside Eocene Environmental Group, and industry leaders from across the country gathered around this year’s theme: “Navigating Pressure on Animal Protein.”

As sustainability expectations continue to rise across the animal protein industry, conversations around transparency, accountability, and trust are more important than ever. The session focused on how data-driven reporting and producer-informed sustainability efforts can help strengthen trust across the supply chain and move beyond buzzwords toward meaningful action.

Big recognition for the FPL Food team!

We had a great time attending the 2026 Environmental, Labor and Safety+ Conference in Houston and were proud to have so many outstanding team members representing FPL Food.

At the conference, the Meat Institute recognized FPL Food for our commitment to community impact, workplace safety, and continuous improvement. We were especially honored to receive recognition in the Community Wellness category for our efforts to support the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.

Congratulations to our Augusta and Thomasville teams for earning Meat Institute safety awards. These recognitions reflect the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that happen every single day across our facilities.

We are grateful for every team member who helps make achievements like these possible, and we look forward to continuing to grow, improve, and make a positive impact together.

Over the last few weeks, our team has donated 41,000 pounds of ground beef — nearly $145,000 worth — to Golden Harvest Food Bank so more families across the CSRA can enjoy nourishing meals together. Golden Harvest works every day to make sure our neighbors don’t go without — providing access to healthy, nutritious food through a network of more than 325 community partners across 24 counties.
