We are among a growing number of meat and poultry processors committed to using the label on qualifying products that are born, raised, harvested, and processed in the United States.

The Product of USA label is designed to help consumers more easily identify products that meet these requirements and feel greater confidence that, when they purchase products bearing the claim, they are supporting American farmers, ranchers, processors, and rural communities.

For nearly 250 years, American agriculture has been the backbone of our nation. Long before highways, skyscrapers, and modern cities, it was farmers, ranchers, and hardworking families who cultivated the land, raised livestock, and provided the food that fueled a growing country. Beef has been a part of that story since the very beginning, feeding communities, strengthening the workforce, and bringing families together around the table.

Today, that legacy continues at FPL Food. Every employee, whether working in our Augusta plant, Thomasville facility, Châtel Farms, or our corporate offices, plays a role in carrying forward a tradition that has helped shape America. From raising cattle with care to producing safe, high-quality beef for customers around the world, our work represents more than a product. It represents pride, craftsmanship, and a commitment to feeding families with excellence.

As our nation celebrates 250 years of independence, we also celebrate the people who continue to keep America's agricultural heritage alive. Nothing says summer like snow cones... especially when they're paired with a commitment to safety!

June is recognized as National Safety Month, so our Augusta team enjoyed a Safety Day Celebration, taking time to cool off, have fun, and reinforce the everyday habits that help keep our workplace safe. From candid safety conversations to a well-deserved frozen treat, it was a great reminder that our people are always our number one priority.

We were proud to have our CEO, Francois Leger, speak at the 2026 Animal Agriculture Alliance Stakeholders Summit a few weeks ago. Francois presented alongside Eocene Environmental Group, and industry leaders from across the country gathered around this year’s theme: “Navigating Pressure on Animal Protein.”

As sustainability expectations continue to rise across the animal protein industry, conversations around transparency, accountability, and trust are more important than ever. The session focused on how data-driven reporting and producer-informed sustainability efforts can help strengthen trust across the supply chain and move beyond buzzwords toward meaningful action.

Big recognition for the FPL Food team!

We had a great time attending the 2026 Environmental, Labor and Safety+ Conference in Houston and were proud to have so many outstanding team members representing FPL Food.

At the conference, the Meat Institute recognized FPL Food for our commitment to community impact, workplace safety, and continuous improvement. We were especially honored to receive recognition in the Community Wellness category for our efforts to support the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve.

Congratulations to our Augusta and Thomasville teams for earning Meat Institute safety awards. These recognitions reflect the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that happen every single day across our facilities.

We are grateful for every team member who helps make achievements like these possible, and we look forward to continuing to grow, improve, and make a positive impact together.
