The Augusta area was chosen as the first viticultural area in the United States because of our unique soils, microclimate, and history, and it is our mission to produce wines that exemplify the uniqueness of this eleven square mile area. Our philosophy is to

farm our vineyards with a respect for the land and the environment. As a result, our wines are fresh, fragrant, focused, and well balanced, but most of all, express the uniqueness of our vineyards. It is this attention to detail that has enabled us to produce wines that are continuously recognized for their uniqueness and superior quality. In addition to our wines, Montelle is also the first winery in Missouri with a distillery. We produce various kinds of brandy including: apple, peach, cherry and grape (grappa). Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help you select the perfect wine for any occasion. We also aspire to reveal the pleasures of pairing fine wine and food. Therefore, our Klondike Café offers fresh, high quality cuisine to complement our wines. Choose from a wide selection of gourmet wraps, salads, sandwiches and pizzas to be enjoyed on our vast deck, where it is easy to lose yourself in a magnificent view of the Missouri River Valley. Something wicked is brewing in Augusta... 🎃🍷

Wicked Wine Hop returns Saturday, October 24! Spend the day hopping between Montelle Winery, Augusta Winery, Mount Pleasant Estates and Balducci Vineyards for live music, local vendors, food & drink specials, costume contests and plenty of Halloween fun.

Your $15 advance ticket also includes winery swag, a tasting voucher and our Pumpkin Passport challenge! Visit all four wineries, complete your jack-o’-lantern and you'll be entered for a chance to win a Private Wine Tasting Party for 10.

And save Montelle for a stop later in the day—we'll be hosting the Best Overall Costume Contest at 4:30 PM!

Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Just bring your crew and come ready for a wicked good time.
