🌟HUGE THANK YOU to the Augusta FFA Alumni for awarding me a 💲3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ grant to put towards my SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience). With these funds, I was able to completely remodel our kidding area!

Our previous kidding setup consisted of only one pen with some questionable “walls.” While it definitely did its job and did it well, it was time for a sturdier area that is more effective and efficient. This new setup can be split in half, allowing does to spend more time in the pen with their newborn kids. It also works perfectly for quarantining new goats that we welcome to the farm because, unlike our old pen, it prevents any goat-to-goat contact.

Again, thank you to the Augusta FFA Alumni for your continuous support in the future of agriculture! 🐐🌾

Another shout out to Pete & Sally Gregor for donating the plastic barrels that we will be using as “heat huts” for the babies!
