Friday morning coffee with the cows!

A glimpse into farm life July 2026

The heifers know they'll get some hay samples fresh from the field if they hang out by the fence... they approve, lol!

The steers eagerly await any wonky hay bales that come their way.

3rd cutting is officially done, small squares for customers and some round bales for some very spoiled cows.

The spring calves are looking good!

Field has been cut and looks great. Bales will be available for pick up out of the field on Wednesday the 22nd only. It's not too late to reserve your hay now. Stock your barn now in preparation for winter!

We try our best to avoid having a bottle calf, dam raised is always best, but sometimes it's unavoidable. Stewart was a twin born May 21st, and unfortunately his mom only wanted the other twin. He got colostrum right away and has been living in the pasture next to our house with our yearling heifers so that we can keep a close eye on him and make feeding easier. He's been banded and had cdt shots. He does great on a bottle but would take well to a nurse cow. Stewart is looking for a new zip code. AHCA registered dam and sire on site. **Stewart has found a new zip code**

We will have 3rd cutting orchard grass hay available out of the field late July. We will be baling small square bales to order only, so if you would like some of this cutting, please let us know how many bales you would like, and we will keep you updated once we have a better idea on timing. We are aiming for 55 # bales, and the price will be $11/bale out of the field.

Quality Highland Beef share is being processed at a local butcher next week.

Grass fed and grass finished. Highlands are slower growing and well known for their flavor, tenderness, lower cholesterol and high protein.

This is a great way to fill your freezer with amazing beef just in time for BBQ season.

A $200 deposit will reserve your beef share, with the remainder due at time of butcher.
