Teeter-Jo is officially in the final countdown!

Her last possible due date is June 21st, and we’re finally seeing some changes in her milk line and v***a. This may be one of my most anticipated litters of the year, and I can’t wait to meet the little hostages she’s been hiding in there! 🤣

DSF Tapeka 7 - Matilda - is looking mighty fine 🧡

I’m beyond excited to see this girls first litter and hopefully have our first belted babies born on the farm. Color is the least important trait when it comes to breeding, but I think this girl really has it all, especially the jowls!

Cordelia is growing so well! This black and ginger gilt is from my sweet friend Brenda at Piney Creek Farm KuneKunes. She is the 2nd Tapeka in our herd and I’m excited to see what she adds to our program. Black and ginger is such a striking color and she pulls it off so well!

Beth sure is a beautiful cream sow 🩷

Her babies had the highest weaning weights of any litter produced on our farm. Most tipped the scales at 40+ pounds by 9 weeks of age!

She was recently moved in with Jimmy (Mahia Love ginger belted boar) for a fall litter. Lloyd is nowhere near their pen this time! 🤣

Those two produced some truly exceptional offspring, but I’m excited to see what Jimmy and Beth can create together. If their piglets inherit Beth’s good looks and Jimmy’s good growth, we should be in for another fantastic litter! Maybe I’ll finally get my belted cream.

Polka has done remarkably well transitioning from her life in Florida to living in Missouri. I think she’s enjoyed the rain that has came nearly every day since she’s been here 😅

Kodi Bear is recovering extremely well from his jaw repair! This big guy weighed in at 66 pounds at his follow-up appointment this week and continues to impress us all with his incredible temperament. Our veterinary team always enjoys getting to see him!

I’m just hoping our future visits are all for good news and routine checkups—no more emergencies. 😅

He still has about two weeks to go before the wires and pins holding his jaw together can be removed, but he doesn’t seem to mind one bit. We’re so proud of how well he’s handled this entire process. ❤️

Teeter-Jo piglet watch is on! She was with Lloyd who is a sneaky after dark breeder. He must be all about the romance because I have no idea when he actually did the deed 🤣

Anywho, latest possible due date is June 21st and we are ready! I’ve been feeling babies for about two weeks and finally seeing some teatline changes.

Now we wait and check on her approximately 27 times a day 😅
