Goodness ā€” the last 18 hours have been a whirlwind! šŸ˜… Iā€™ve had about 3 hours of sleep in the past 36 hours, and I am BEAT. But we have a couple of exciting updates to share!

Our miniature schnauzer, Laramie, had her puppies last night! We ended up having to go in for an emergency C-section at 3:30 AM, but we now have four stunning little boys, and everyone is doing amazing! šŸ¾šŸ’™

Beth decided she couldnā€™t be left out, so she went ahead and had her babies two days early! Thankfully, these little ones arrived during the day, and everyone is nursing and doing amazing. Beth and Merle Hoggard are the proud parents of 5 beautiful gilts and 1 handsome boarling! All six are white and brown (or brown and white) with double wattles!

Iā€™m completely exhausted, but my heart is so full. Feeling incredibly grateful for healthy mamas, healthy babies, and all the blessings God continues to give our little farm šŸ™

This stunning LGD has had my heart for a long time! She goes above and beyond protecting our livestock, but itā€™s clear that the pigs are her passion. Armenian Gamprs are truly such special dogs and I am always happy to share details about them with others!

Diamond S Farm Tapeka 7, better known as Matilda Jane šŸ§”

This sweet girl is growing her maiden litter and firmly believes her hard work deserves lots of rest in the shade. Her sister, Cookie, recently farrowed her maiden litter and those babies have some phenomenal length! I canā€™t wait to see what Matilda has cooking!

Our family is so excited to have a booth at Farm Fest in Springfield again this year! ā¤ļø

There are so many details that go into bringing our booth togetherā€”countless hours of planning, creating our handcrafted soaps, rendering tallow from our farm-raised beef, preparing products, and putting together all of the little details that make our booth feel like us.

What we do is truly a family effort, and weā€™re passionate about creating quality products while raising quality animals right here on our farm. We love being able to share a little piece of our farm, our hard work, and our family with our community.

Weā€™re so thankful for everyone who continues to support our small family farm and the products we create.

Come stop by, say hello, and check out what weā€™ve been working on!

Matilda Jane and Lloyd Jr. found the best place to chill out for a bit!

Iā€™m itching to get these two back on the scale and check their weights. Lloyd Jr. has been growing so well and I am thrilled I decided to hold onto him šŸ–¤

Pistol Annie has been such a fun addition to our herd. This gilt has the structure of a brick house, and I just love her floppy ears!

Weā€™ve got a few new faces coming to the farm soon and I am likely going to be offering some of my current pigs in order to keep our numbers manageable. If youā€™re looking for a new addition please reach out! Pistol Annie will not be leaving šŸ–¤

We are back home to the farm and out enjoying the cooler temperatures!

Molly Malone is really impressing me with her overall size and conformation. This gilt has matured so nicely and I canā€™t wait to have some offspring out of her!
