The other morning I walked downstairs poured my morning cup of coffee and opened the fridge. To my utter horror I realized I didn’t have any Martabak left!!!

As I sat drinking my lonely cup of coffee the idea of the Martabak Express was created because if I can’t go without Martabak with my morning coffee how many others are also feeling this same pain?

So what is the Martabak Express?

- In addition to our big batch orders, we will make a certain amount of martabak during the weekdays (Monday - Friday) for those that request it.
- Requests have to be made the previous day.
- No guarantees on how much we will be able to make each day but you will notified if we cannot fill your order.
- We can deliver in the Aurora area for any martabak orders that are 2 or more.

What is a Martabak?

Versions of martabak can actually be found in various countries like Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This sweet version of the martabak that we sell is called Martabak Manis or Terang Bulan in Indonesian and is a popular street food in Indonesia.

The best thing about the martabak is how many different ingredients and variations you can make; such as adding pandan or red velvet to the batter. Currently, we are making the more traditional martabak which consists of the following:

- Blue Band Margarine
- Nutella
- Crushed Peanuts
- White Cheddar Cheese
- Chocolate Sprinkles
- Condensed Milk

Keep a look for free samples of different types of martabak (and other goodies) we might add to your order. Because what is better than being a Martabak taste tester?

Wow, talk about hitting the ground running. We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback we have received for our food.

We did not expect all of the orders being placed by our friends as well as their friends and family. Because of your support what we thought would be a slow start start to this process started off with a bang. Thank you everyone.
