Family owned and operated multi-generation farm, growing sunflowers and offering Nelson's Cookies & Mor

Founded in 1980 by Susan Marie Welch, Du-Mor Farm is a family run farm in the Northeast Ohio community for over 25 years. Once an equestrian center, the family has transitioned to growing beautiful sunflowers and Nelson's Cookies & Mor, delicious baked goods. Du-Mor is located in beautiful Aurora, Ohio, only 15 miles southeast of downtown Cleveland. Located off State Route 43, just south of the Aurora Farms Outlets and is easily accessible from Rte. 422, Rte. 82, I-480, and I-271.

We're back! 🌻

Okay, confession time - we've been quiet since January, and we owe you an explanation! Life threw a lot at the Du-Mor family these past few months: ramped-up work schedules, a very wet spring that pushed back our planting, and some exciting news worth celebrating...

🎓 Nelson earned his culinary degree - and was honored by Stark State for his achievements! He's also continuing to grow in his role at one of our area's best local grocery chains, where he's been for five years now. We couldn't be prouder. That means even more deliciousness coming your way this year!
But here's the best part - we've been busy growing something special for you!
🌻 Sunflowers are in the ground! We got them planted the last week of May (later than usual, thanks to all that spring rain), and we can't wait to watch them reach for the sky.
And we've got some exciting NEW additions this year:

🎃 Pumpkins - extending our season into fall!

🍉 Watermelon - a sweet summer treat!

🌽 Rainbow corn - because ordinary is boring!

🎨 HB Workshop - custom UV-printed gifts and decor (more on this soon!)

🍪 And of course... THE COOKIES! Including Nelson's award-winning Monster Cookies and Sweet Potato Raisin Bread (2nd place at the Geauga County Fair!), plus some brand-new recipes we can't wait for you to try!

We're working hard to make this our best season yet. Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us - this community means everything to us. 💛

🎓 So proud of this guy. 🎓

This weekend we celebrated Nelson’s graduation and his Associate Degree in Culinary Arts — a milestone that reflects years of hard work, growth, and passion for baking and food. From the classroom to the kitchen, this journey has shaped not only his skills, but the heart behind everything he creates.

We’re incredibly grateful for the friends, family, instructors, and advisors who supported Nelson every step of the way. Your encouragement helped make this moment possible, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes him. 💙🍪🌻

This holiday season was truly record-breaking for us — and it happened because of you. Every order placed, every kind word shared, every recommendation to a friend, and every visit to our stand meant more than we can properly put into words.
From cookies and baked treats to sunflowers, gifts, and handmade items, your support allowed us to do what we love while staying rooted in our community. We’re especially grateful for those who continue to support a small, family-run business year after year — it never goes unnoticed.

As we look ahead to the New Year, we’re filled with gratitude, excitement, and a deep appreciation for the community that makes all of this possible.
