It was a joy to host our fellow Missouri Hereford Association breeders over the weekend to share ideas, compare notes, and celebrate the great things going on in the Hereford breed.

It was even greater to have long-time friends and neighbors, Cork cattle Co. and JCS Livestock, join us with display cattle.

Looking forward to hosting Missouri Hereford Association members and Hereford enthusiasts. Fellow breeders, Cork cattle Co. and JCS- The Shepherds will have their genetics on display. A bonus will be some Show-Me Select females from Tom Wheeler that showcases what Hereford genetics do for commercial cattlemen.

After a great start to Saturday morning, we’ll head to J.D. Bellis Family Herefords for Stop #2 of the 2026 Missouri Hereford Association Field Day!

It’s National Dog Day. We can’t miss it without giving some recognition to our herd dog in training.

Spend your weekend on the Missouri Hereford Association Tour!

You will see the foundation females that will reload our herd in the next few calving seasons. 7539, H117, 269F and 27K.

In addition, preview James M414. He serviced the fall and spring heifers. Evaluate this young herd sire to walk your pastures.

Be sure to RSVP to MHA. In addition to great farm stops, there will be some outstanding educational content.
