Two Hive Honey

Today I’m not liking bees so much. Took a sting right between the eyes! Again!
I’ve never gotten a massive headache from a sting before. I wonder, could this have been a Wasp or Yellowjacket? Whatever, DAMN Bugs!

As the end of the year arrives, I just want to say thank you to all of you that support us. I hope you have enjoyed the honey. We wish you the merriest of Christmases (did I spell that right? ) and the happiest and very prosperous 2019.

We have had the pleasure of sharing our love of beekeeping with many friends and family this year. I especially enjoyed a visit from my sister, Barbara Blair and her husband Pat. They both participated in the whole beekeeping experience with me.
What a joy they are in my life. ❤

So as we feed the girls to bulk them up for winter, we are disappointed to find one of our strongest hives decimated by wasps. 3 years in a row. 🤔😥 Bummer!
Won't put a hive in that yard again.

We found some bee hives at a nature preserve in Cuba. How exciting! Nathan had the preserves vet take him out for a look. We bought some and brought it home. Can't wait to taste it.
