We are not like the other farms - we like to think that our guests step back in time a few years.... We offer something a little different than the other farms - no Fall season haunting themes, no electronic games, just clean old-fashioned outdoor family and group fun. All of our events are fundraisers for the Monks of Marmion Abbey. All proceeds from Abbey Farms enables the continuation of the various ministries performed by the Monks, as well. Having been in the business of creating family traditions for more than 50 years, the monks pride themselves on providing good ol’ fashioned fun for the entire family. Abbey Farms is a non-profit farm run by and for the Monks of Marmion Abbey located in Aurora Illinois started back in 1949. Since the first Christmas tree was planted in 1949, Abbey Farms has transformed into a multi season family-oriented farm. Situated on over 300 acres of beautiful farmland, Abbey Farms is one of the oldest farms open to the public in the area. From monk-grown U-Cut and Precut Christmas trees to our over 8 acre corn maze - when it comes to old-fashioned family fun, we have it all!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Pumpkin Daze yesterday! We had a big day.

A quick heads-up if you’re planning to pick a pumpkin: the heavy rain early in the season was hard on our crop, so selection will be thinner than usual for the next couple of days. We’ve got more pumpkins coming later this week.

Abbey Farms is open today. Just a heads up to anyone who is coming to the farm today. After the last two days of rain the grounds are very wet with standing water in some places. The corn maze is going to be very muddy with standing water in places as well. So please wear the appropriate footwear!

Rainy day update from Abbey Farms:

Due to today's weather, our Pumpkin Daze Activity Park will be CLOSED today.

But the Nagel Emporium is OPEN!

Stop in, do a little shopping, and pick up some of our award-winning apple c***r donuts, made fresh and hot out of the fryer.

The rain may have closed the park, but it does not have to keep you from getting your Abbey Farms fall favorites!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Pumpkin Daze when the weather clears.

🌧️ PUMPKIN DAZE PARK CLOSED TODAY — SEPTEMBER 30 🌧️

Due to the ongoing rain and additional rain in today’s forecast, the Pumpkin Daze Activity Park will be CLOSED today, Wednesday, September 30.

But you can still get your fall favorites! 🍂🎃

The Nagel Emporium Farm Store will be OPEN as normal, so stop in and grab:

🍺 Abbey Ales
🍎 Caramel apples & seasonal treats

Our 8-acre corn maze is one of the highlights of Pumpkin Daze, and this year the design is extra special. The maze was inspired by our new Abbey Farms logo!

Get lost, find your way out, then go back and do it all over again. Best of all, the corn maze is included with your Pumpkin Daze admission along with over 40 activities throughout the park.
