Our favorite sommelier, Malon Lemoins, has been selected for a prestigious wine trade trip to Barcelona, Spain as part of the U.S. delegation sponsored by the E.U. Before he heads out on the 31st, he’s bringing the magic of Catalonia to Austin with a night dedicated to one of the world’s most underrated sparkling wines in a truly elegant venue.

If you’re looking to up your education game and get some new certifications, our friends at The Austin Wine & Food Foundation has $35,000 in educational scholarships for Austin’s hospitality industry! Applications are now open and close August 1.

Programs We Fund: We’ve previously supported students pursuing education through WSET, TEXSOM, Texas Culinary Academy, Court of Master Sommeliers, Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts (Austin campus), Society of Wine Educators, Wine Scholar Guild, and many other hospitality programs.


Whether you’re new to the industry or a seasoned professional, you are encouraged to apply or share this opportunity with anyone in your community considering continuing education in food or beverage.

After careful consideration and planning, we have decided to close our East 7th tasting room doors and continue to operate fully remote. This change will allow us to focus on enhancing other aspects of the Blurred Vines experience. Our customer base is spread throughout the greater Austin area so we want to bring the tasting room to you!

As a final farewell to our tasting room, we hope to see you at our Drink the Cellar: Last Call event on Friday, December 15. Link in bio for tickets.

The Blurred Vines concept is not changing. We will continue to provide memberships, subscription boxes, online wine bottle shop, and private tastings (more details on our updated offerings early in 2024).

In the past two years, we have made amazing friends while drinking incredible wines. Your support has been invaluable to us, and we are committed to continuing to provide you with exceptional wines and memorable experiences.
