We had an absolutely incredible dinner at in Coronado. The view alone is worth it, you're literally on the water with a beautiful view of the bay and skyline. For five people, with three bottles of wine, appetizers, mains, and dessert, we came in around $500, which felt more than fair given the quality and the location.

Let’s talk about the food.
First, the bread. The whipped butter. Sounds simple, but dipping that fresh, warm bread into their clam chowder? Insane. My friend from the East Coast (Boston born and bred) said it was some of the best clam chowder she’s ever had, which says a lot. Creamy, rich, packed with flavor, and not overly thick. Total winner.

The ceases salad on fried Asiago was a great choice and really flavorful beginner with great presentation!

We split the Fire Roasted Baja Salmon, which came with shrimp, avocado corn pico, mango sticky rice, and lemon shallot butter, under $40, beautifully cooked, and perfect for sharing. Light but flavorful, and that mango sticky rice added a fun twist we didn’t expect.

But the real MVP? The Seafood Risotto. Now listen, I’m not a rice person at all, usually think it’s just filler, but this dish changed my mind. It was rich, buttery, packed with perfectly cooked seafood, and somehow still light enough to not feel heavy. Honestly, I was jealous I didn’t order it myself. It’s easily the best dish we had, and if it’s a special next time, I’m not missing it.
Overall: highly recommend. Great food, great service, unforgettable views. Can’t wait to come back.

I always write about .sd when I'm in San Diego! We are obsessed. Last time we had the pleasure of trying their dynamite special with scallops. It was one of the best dishes we have had but sadly it got discontinued. However, we tried a new roll this time called the Cilantro Roll and it was life changing 🍱🍣🤤🤤

I've never had cilantro on sushi but holy smokes yall it was a game changer. I really don't see it in the online menu so perhaps it's newer? It had shrimp tempura, crab, and tuna, and I'm talking a TON of crab. We added cream cheese cuz we are naughty 🤠

As we sat at the sushi bar we had Aijan (spelling?) as our sushi chef. He was great and actually treated us to a taste of the sashimi salad that we were eyeing but didn't order. Def gonna get that next time. It's PILED HIGH with fresh fish and sesame. Seriously the freshest ever.

FINALLY got to try the sexy pink food truck I keep seeing all over Austin! 😛

This place has Amazeballs reviews and I totally get why! They do not cook with any seed oils, canola oils, vegetable oils, and are also soy free. Their philosophy is around sustainable suppliers and farm relationships.

We got the build your own bowl as we didn't want rice. However, the rice looked delicious!

Inside we had chipotle chicken, chipotle ziki sauce, crispy chickpeas, fajita veggies, grilled corn, cucumber salsa all on a big bed of arugula! 🤤🤤🤤

Not pictured was the quezadilla which was insanely delicious and massive to feed three people - it's stuffed with cheese and veggies and some amazing beef gyro. Highly recommend. The Greek fries were also a big hit, you can tell they use wholesome ingredients. Swoooon! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

We finished the eve with - omg their seasonal pumpkin and regular caramel were a great pairing. Nothing like a frozen treat when injured (swipe to last slide lol). I look like I'm half dead after surgery but this was a meal to remember. Check them out! 👀👀👀

sent me THE BEST lol chopper for my chopped salads!

This thing is a game changer, legit just toss everything on the blade and pull down the top and it perfectly cubes your food. It also comes with a peeler, various graters, and so much more all inside this lil kit. 🤗🤗

This may be the best salad I've ever made:
-peppers 🫑🌶️
-red onion 🧅
-ham 🐷
-avocado 🥑
-spinach 🥬
-Romain 🥬
-Trader Joe's Gouda mix (the best) 🧀
-pistachios for crunch 🌰

Dressing was a mix between creamy jalapeño sauce and sugar free sweet heat bbq 🤤

Seriously this salad is wildly addicting and packed with nutrients

How TF did I live in the domain for a year and never went here??? The dissapointment is so real as this is some of the most flavorful, robust ramen I've had 🤤

My homie had the dumpling ramen which I was jealous of, and def wanna try next time. I got the Tonkotsu black ramen - I always get black ramen if it's available and order extra black oil and chili oil.

Jinya Ramen was something else. I loved the ambiance and the waiters were dope! Def coming back here for a cozy meal when it's not a billion degrees 🔥🧯

🍗🍗WANG GANG 🍗🍗

Tried notorious wangzzz and they did not disappoint.

What I loved most was that they are grilled, thiccc wings that don't have a huge breading to it. So you can actually taste the meat 🤤

We had some nice drinks and food here before heading out for Sunday funday football on 6th street!

These were the honey jalapeño flavor, and the sauce comes really thin but glazed all over the wings with a char. Very unique flavor and ended up ordering some to go because

Broncos got absolutely annialated by Miami. Shocker. Other than that it was a glorious Sunday out! Stay hungry my friends 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Comin in HAWT with this insane animal cookie creature! 🤩🔥🤤

Idk why I'm just seeing these bad boiiiis but I'm mad I didn't know about them sooner cuz HOLY SMOKES 🔥🔥🔥

This thing is massive, soft and chewy, and the batter is made with animal cookies and then absolutely STUFFED with animal cookie frosting.

I said I would only eat half but here we are, feeling fat and weird after eating it in its entirety.

Seriousky amazeballzzzz. They also had a molten lava one which looked crazy 🌋🌋

I got this at Dash Mart. Bone me. 🍪🍪🍪

🤤AUSTIN Restaurant Week🤩

So sad I just got back from traveling at the tail end of restaurant week. Sigh.

was everything everyone says it is. Sexy interior, beautiful cocktails, open ambiance, and amazing staff and food.

WE HAD THE BEST TIME sitting at the bar with Michael. He is a gem and even tho he said he was new in a sucker for great customer service. 🎉

My GF said we should check out their prix fixe menu for restaurant week. $60 gets you an app, a salad, an entree, and a dessert. Bone me 🤩💃

But before we ordered, we noticed the people actually sitting at the bar had these yummy looking snacks so we asked and you should ask too - garlic blanched almonds and the best chili oil olives you can imagine.

We started with the house focaccia which apparently takes 5 HOURS to bake. It's like the fluffiest thing ever and served with whipped ricotta and honey. We ate too much of it. More to come on

We had:
•Hamachi with salsa verde
•Summer greens salad with DATES and shallots
•Grilled prime short rib - this thing was massive and perfectly charred. Served over garlic mash and some other yummy sauce. Seriously the best short rib ever. Ate about 1/3 because of the bread lol.
•Finished with the peanut butter chocolate cake which had like toasted marshmallows on top! Did not touch it until this morning because of the bread 🥯🍞🥖🥐🫓🥪

Seriously go east on the bread we were rolling out of there. Needless to say I ate cake and short rib for breckie this morning 🥩🍰

The rain ain't always on the menu so get it while you can. All this was accompanied by an amazing bottle of wine I had never had called Rizzi. 🍷

God I'm so fat this morning but it was worth it fam. Get you summm 😍

THIS SAUCE RIGHT HERE 🔥🍗

Y'all anytime you're in San Diego don't sleep on the food at located right on the beach.

I lived here for 10 years and the food never stood out to me. They must have completely rebranded because these wings were wildly good. They had like a crispy charred glaze to them.

The wait recommended the habanero cream sauce and omg I could drink it. I basically did drink it 🤩💦

Honestly terrible picture. But I want to remember this sauce lol 🤤

BIG WIN for tonight 🧢

has been on my list for a long time when I used to live in San Diego. Did not disappoint but very rich, great to share! Legit a pound of meat, drenched in sauces for the same price as a weak a** hot dawg.

Highly recommend getting light on the bbq sauce and going extra on the hot custom queso they make in house for the same price. INSANE.

Padres won and we had a bday dinner celebrating my best friend in the 🌏

Love you SD my home away from home ❤️💃🤩
