Tried Rise Coffee & Bakery in South Austin and it totally gave “treat yourself” energy. ☕️🧁 The coffee was bright + fruity (they use Barrett’s beans), and the cupcake flight was honestly dangerous in the best way. Super easy stop with a cozy vibe.

Afternoon coffee + donuts run at Bourgie’s 🍩☕️ We stopped by around 3pm and ended up going with an Americano (smooth, mild, easy to sip) and a few donuts — maple + chocolate glazed were my favorites. Also love that they usually have vegan and gluten-free options, and parking was easy in the strip mall lot.

Visited Whipped Bakery (Anderson location) on a weekday afternoon and WOW — the inside is so elegant and pretty, and it was still packed at 2pm (clearly popular for a reason). We tried a few desserts, and the pistachio fatcaron was the clear winner… bursting with flavor and the perfect texture. Easy parking, great pairing with an Americano + peppermint tea, and definitely a spot to remember for custom cakes too.
