Took a step back today . The pain came back with a vengeance when they removed the catheter and I started to swell up to the point I couldn’t use the bathroom . After 6 hours of trying to p*e normal they had to put a new one back in . So that just means I’m going to be in here long than expected.
I seriously appreciate all of yalls support and prayers . I’m absolutely amazed at how much support yall have given me and my family . I’ll be forever grateful for that . I know I’m hard to handle sometimes but most know I will go to the end of the world to help anyone in need but when it comes to asking for help for myself I find every avenue possible to be able to be fully self supporting so that way nothing could be held over my head . I lay here realizing at 5 1/2 years sober I still have allot of gaurds up and don’t let anyone to close including my family. I tend to burry myself in work to try and prove to myself that I’m not the guy I used to be and that I’m going to get myself to the top on my own without realizing I’m not present for my family , I’m not keepiimg an eye on my health, I’m not giving my self anytime to enjoy the life I’ve been working so hard to get . This hospital stay is a real reality check that need to make more time to be present before I give everything I have away because I was to afraid to let anyone know I am struggling. I may be sober but my triangle is very lopsided right now and it’s time to get things evened out so that way i can achieve the ultimate goal and be closer to family by next year . I love you all and appreciate you more than you ever know . If yall could please continue to pray for me and my family and to share the go fund me so I can have the time for once to heal instead of going back to work the day after I get out like I always do.
