Meet the W**emaker with Axel Heinz of Château Lascombes!

An accomplished and renowned oenologist and viticulturist, notably for his resounding
successes in Italy with the prestigious Super-Tuscans, Ornellaia and Masseto, Axel Heinz
agreed to lead Lascombes’ renewal in 2022.

Château Lascombes returned to family ownership when it was purchased by the Lawrence
Family in 2022, and the estate is now managed by Axel Heinz. His w**emaking philosophy for
Château Lascombes is to return to a style more rooted in Bordeaux tradition and classic
proportions, with a predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon grown on gravelly soil.

Rumor has it that we will be tasting a broad range of Bordeaux w**e, from bubbles to reds.
