🤠 Turns out our Wagyu isn’t just good eatin’… it makes downright fancy cowboy gold too.

A customer rendered down some beef tallow from one of our animals and we’re pretty sure this stuff could slick a saddle, fry the best potatoes of your life, and make your grandma jealous — all at the same time.

Clean. Rich. Golden. The kind of quality that makes you tip your hat and say “yup… that’ll do.”

Nose-to-tail ain’t a trend out here. It’s just how we’ve always done it. 🥩🔥

When the going gets tough, a smart farmer knows how to work the land. Sacrifice pastures are key during droughts or harsh winters. By utilizing areas with lower quality soil, we can actually start regenerating them over time. This particular pasture on our ranch is a great example - it's one of our toughest spots, but by moving the herd in during tough times, we're able to kickstart the healing process. The organic matter and soil disturbance work together to bring life back to this plot, turning an unproductive area into something valuable.

In regenerative agriculture you focus on soil health and restoring the land. Over the past 12 months we have had 50% of the rainfall compared to a bad drought year. Less than 10 inches in 12 months. Our stock tanks are the lowest in the last 15+ years. The green = rotational grazing and managing weeds. The brown where you see cows grazing is a pasture being restored through bale grazing where the soil is disrupted, organic matter is added and the soil starts to heal. In a few months from now with a little rain this too will start to recover and green will poke through!

It’s been a minute since we have been on social media but we are still at it. Breeding season and two rounds of ET transfers complete. Live cover now and planning the rest of 2026 through 2028 calving. This is the long game.

On the beef side we are still at it with a new website under development, complete rebuild on the delivery van, and the best customers we could ask for!

Looking forward to 2026, stay tuned for some big moves!!

Breeding season started on the ranch this Monday with setting up our donors for embryo production and concludes March 28th one month after we pull our bulls and conduct preg checks on the ranch. We manage about 8-10 donors through 7 occyte collections that are produced for frozen as well as two fresh transfers. The next 6 months are planned to the day. During this time we will transfer between 80-100 embryos that are all matings to specific donors and bulls from the top 1% in the world. We sort the semen so when making a pairing we can select genomic traits based on making the next round of females and future donors or if we are making the next generation of bulls.
