Pops are made w/no artificial colors, preservatives, high fructose corn syrup or stabilizers. One summer day in 2008 in Austin, Texas, Manuel and Laura Flores reminisced about their childhood summer day trips with their familias, crossing the border into Mexico. Never was a trip complete without the treat of a frozen, fresh, fruit “paleta”. That day, they set out to introduce their children to the
paleta, and what they found was full of coloring and chemicals. Determined and downright desperate for a wholesome, good popsicle, Manuel and Laura decided the only option was to make their own. Manuel and Laura started testing out flavors in their kitchen using only fresh, natural and organic ingredients and they soon realized that their creations were actually very good. So good, that in that Summer of 2008, Manuel and Laura decided to start their own popsicle company, which they called “PopSoCools”. Manuel and Laura changed the name of their company to “Mom & Pops” in the Spring 2011.
