The Fall Owner Gathering is this Saturday, October 17 from 11am-12:30pm in the Bluewillow Lounge at our South Lamar location!

Hear how your co-op did this past fiscal year, get an update from our GM, Tanya, and meet our Board candidates. We’ll also have presentations from Del Valle Food Coop and Austin Cooperative Business Association (ACBA). If you have questions or want to learn more about your co-op, this is the place to be.

It’s also the kickoff of our election, where owners can vote for local nonprofits as 2027 community action partners and choose who joins our Board of Directors.

See you there, owners!

Oh, sweet Guad. Where to begin.

You’ve been there for us for so many years! Always a gathering place for students, artists, neighbors and local producers alike. We’ve had good times and rough times, wild celebrations and somber losses.

And we wouldn’t change that for the world!

With great sorrow in our hearts, we are here to announce that the last day of operation for the Guadalupe location with be October 25, 2026.

While Guad will be leaving us, our South Lamar location is still very much alive and will continue serving our community from here to infinity!

Come out on the 25th to say your goodbyes to Guad and watch Mangia make his journey to our South Lamar store to help manage the produce section.

In the meantime time, you can continue to support Guad and the co-op as a whole by shopping with us during this rough transition! There will be plenty of close out sales to be had from here through the end.

Take a peep at our Fall Breeze newsletter (on our website) for more details.

THANK YOU.
To Guad. To Austin. To you.

See you at South Lamar 💜

OH MY GOURD Y'ALL

Our Fall Festival is almost here! Join us Saturday, October 10th from 11am to 4pm at our South Lamar location (4001 S Lamar Blvd) for a day full of fall fun. We'll have 60 vendors in our parking lot, a live DJ, fall themed carnival games, and grilled cheese to snack on while you look around.

Inside the store, 15+ Wheatsville vendors will be handing out samples, and everything being sampled that day will be 10% off. Come hungry!

See you there!

Those Pride pins y’all purchased this summer? They added up to something big. Thanks to the Wheatsville community, we raised $1,164.54 for Rainbow Connections ATX, a program of Family Eldercare that connects and supports LGBTQIA2+ older adults here in Austin, helping reduce isolation and celebrate every stage of life with pride and dignity.

We’re proud to back local programs that bring people together. Thank you for helping make it happen! 🌈

$3,305.38 raised and 60+ lbs of school supplies donated all thanks to YOU, Wheatsville Shoppers! Throughout August, your generosity at the register supported Austin Creative Reuse and helped get supplies into classrooms for the new school year.

Austin Creative Reuse is a local nonprofit that keeps usable materials out of landfills by collecting donations and offering them at low cost to teachers, artists, and community members across Austin.

Thank YOU for rounding up and giving back! ♻️✏️
