The City of Austin turned City Hall lights purple tonight for Domestic Violence Awareness month and brought advocacy groups together to share their services and support each other in the effort to stop domestic violence.

It takes a village.

We appreciate all the hard work these organizations do to protect families struggling with domestic violence.

Purple Thursday | Domestic Violence
Awareness Month๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
Purple Thursday is observed annually on the third Thursday of October to raise awareness about domestic violence and show support for survivors.
Wearing purple is a powerful way to stand in solidarity with survivors, honor those affected, and remind our community that everyone deserves to live free from abuse.๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
Let's continue to spread awareness, show support, and be a voice for those who need it.

Gratitude is heartfelt to the staff who came together to craft and serve BBQ sandwiches at the Travis County Juneteenth celebration, with proceeds uplifting disadvantaged community members. Special thanks to Josh Alba for skillfully slow-smoking the BBQ meat, and appreciation is also marked for the Men As Allies board officers who masterfully coordinated sales, driving positive impact in action.

Much appreciation goes to our volunteers who put in many hours to help us raise funds for our program!
