Mark your calendar for Saturday afternoon! Hill Country Galleria will host its annual Oktoberfest from 3-7. There will be lots of pretzels, a balloon artist and face painter for the kids and b**r for the adults!

We were invited back this year for the Hill Country Galleria’s Oktoberfest this Saturday! It’s sure to be a good time with b**r, live polka music and of course German pretzels. Hill Country Galleria is generously bringing the full pretzel bar experience with assorted flavors and dips for free. Come and enjoy! Festivities begin at 3 pm until 7 pm.

The busy season is starting up! Back to school events, fundraisers, Oktoberfest and weddings are in full force. My trusty dough rounder is here to get me through 🥨

Summertime is super slow for the food biz so I look for creative ways to stay busy before the crush of Oktoberfest and wedding season. Last week I did another chef demonstration at the recently renovated Lake Austin Spa Resort for an easy breezy frozen margarita tart. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. The recipe follows the photo.
