Q&A📖 Alright Aberdeem so let’s dig a little deeper into the story has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. The culinary world can be tough long hours, constant pressure and a lot of sacrifice. There have been moments where I questioned if I’d make it, especially when my father, who was the one that taught me to love the kitchen and chase this dream, became ill. He always reminded me to stay strong and go for it, no matter what stood in my way. Losing that constant encouragement was hard but his lessons became my anchor.
There were times when it was just me, my mixer and a lot of faith pushing through exhaustion, uncertainty, and fear of failure. The pandemic tested everything I built and moving cities meant starting over again. But each setback taught me something resilience, patience, and a deeper love for my craft.
I learned that success isn’t about things going perfectly. It’s about showing up even when you’re tired or scared, and remembering why you started. Every challenge shaped me into who I am not just a pastry chef but a fighter with flour on my hands and faith in heart.❤️
