This is called the ‘pink’ stage of the season. The white blossom are pears that blossom after plums and before most apple varieties. Full blossom for apples is usually the first week of May.

Our plumb trees are blossoming. They shoot out flowers before leaves. An intense sweet distinct floral smell. The bees are busy and happy!

The apple season is starting! Lots of pruning and clean up. These are SweeTango apples trees. You can see the tiny blossom clusters in the center of the leaf tight cluster. Also some deer and mice damage on trees I missed getting tree guards on. If you plant apples trees protect the first 24 inches of the tree.

We have limited amounts of seconds available for $8 for 10 pounds. Perfect for eating and baking. This is our final weekend at the orchard for the season. We will still be selling at Rochester Farmers indoor market into December.
