Self picking Zestars is in full Swing. Probably 2 more weeks at best so come on out and pick while supply last !

The orchard will be open from 11-5 this weekend, come out and enjoy some freshly picked apples or pick some yourself !!!

This weekend we will have:

🍎Honey Crisp 🍎- A fan favorite with great flavor! Limited amount

🍎Zestar🍎- An early season Apple with lots of flavor ! A fan favorite at the orchard !!

🍎Sweetango🍎- Sweet and crunchy with lots of flavor, this apple is a cross breed of Honeycrisp and Zestar. A fan favorite and best seller !!

🍎Chesnut Crab 🍎- A nice small apple with similar taste to a honeycrisp !!

This is called the ‘pink’ stage of the season. The white blossom are pears that blossom after plums and before most apple varieties. Full blossom for apples is usually the first week of May.

Our plumb trees are blossoming. They shoot out flowers before leaves. An intense sweet distinct floral smell. The bees are busy and happy!

The apple season is starting! Lots of pruning and clean up. These are SweeTango apples trees. You can see the tiny blossom clusters in the center of the leaf tight cluster. Also some deer and mice damage on trees I missed getting tree guards on. If you plant apples trees protect the first 24 inches of the tree.
