Who doesn’t love home-canned goodies?! NO ONE! 😋

We’re excited to have Murphy Makes joining us at the High Cotton on the Bayou Festival on October 3 from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM, bringing along her delicious home-canned goodies!

Come spend the day with us and take a walk back in time as we celebrate the skills, traditions, and craftsmanship of days gone by. You’ll get to see:

🌾 Sorghum syrup making

🔨 Blacksmithing

🧼 Soap making

🍞 Fresh bread baked in an outdoor oven

🧵 Thread spinning from raw cotton

And SO much more!

This is a fun, hands-on day you won’t want to miss! Bring the family, come hungry, and enjoy a glimpse into how things were made before modern conveniences.

Admission is just $5.00!

We can’t wait to see you there! Come join us for a day of history, tradition, good food, and good old-fashioned fun! ❤️
