We attended the Harker Heights Food, Wine & Brew Festival this past weekend and the Band Of Brothers BBQ fed the musicians, festival staff and a tent full of hungry VIPs. Their Brisket & Turkey was smoked to perfection paired with Jalapeño Ranch Slaw and Smoked Mac & Cheese. For their closing act, they presented Banana Pudding that brought it all home for us. They are known for their gluten friendly menu and we look forward to visiting their restaurant soon.

Pitmaster James Crawford and Zack LeLeu touched every table multiple times making sure all the guests were happy and satisfied. They and their team executed dinner and good times like Allstars!

The San Antonio Smoke Show that has Legs for days!

This viral sensation delivers the goods with their tender, flavorful, fall off the bone, smoked to perfection, “Famous Turkey Leg”. Texas Frontyard BBQ catering has perfected the smoked turkey leg that stands on its own. With a steady stream of customers, we jumped in line and were quickly greeted by Pitmaster, Lomeli Delgado with a big Texas smile and a friendly welcome as we stepped up to the window to order. We came for the social media star, the “Famous Turkey Leg” and added the Brisket Stuffed Baked Potato. Lomeli threw in their “Secret Sauce” on the side, which is genius with its sophisticated flavor profile that didn’t take away from the integrity of his smoked turkey leg. This sauce should be bottled and on the shelf at - The Brisket on the Baked Potato was on point with a nice bark, great smoke that melted in our mouths. The potato had proper consistency with each bite with generous layers of cheese, chives and sour cream. I added some of the “Secret Sauce” into the mix, which was pure money. Hop on that flavor train and ride it all meal long. With the hearty portions served, you definitely get your moneys worth and a satisfied, full belly.

Lomeli offered me a look in their enclosed trailer, pit operation. It was impressive in size, design and efficiency. I could tell by his happy team, that there is great culture in his business. As we were leaving this family run business, I thanked Co-Owner, Jacob Delgado, Lomeli’s Son for the great experience. We will be back soon and we’re bringing friends.
