We're back in Los Angeles this week! Today at the Costco San Dimas store serving our organic shade-grown arabica coffee from Chiapas, Mexico. We work directly with small family-owned coffee cooperatives in the Sierra Madre mountains, who utilize traditional methods of organic farming like crop rotation and companion planting to sustain their land. We've roasted this coffee daily at our warehouse in Austin, Texas, since 1990.

Happy to see our university partners, Shark Research at University of Miami (SRC), awarded the 2025 Educational Partner of the Year award for their research and data collection on sharks and marine life by Deering Estate. SRC focuses on shark education, conservation, and science, and conducts research that has positively impacted environmental policy and awareness in South Florida. Their team of professors and university students also offers opportunities for schoolchildren in the community to go out on research vessels to survey, sample, tag, and study sharks, inspiring the next generation of marine scientists. In 2026, it will mark eight years since we first began supporting their important work!

Our wildflower seed cards are returning to demos and events. This edition honors monarch butterfly migratory patterns between Mexico and North America, mapping an ancient route that ties us together in the most natural of ways. Butterflies, along with bees, hummingbirds, and other insects, are a key pollinator for arabica coffee plants, contributing to the biodiversity and soil quality of farms in Chiapas, Mexico.

Printed with eco-friendly ink and embedded with non-GMO wildflower seeds, these cards can bloom into annual and perennial wildflowers across the U.S., providing nectar for local pollinators.

We'll be in the Houston area at Costco stores this weekend with brewed coffee and organic whole beans. Come see us!
