Dalmatian Jasper wrapped in black-copper wire with a silver rose.

Black-copper wire is tricky. It shows every place the tools touch the wire. Admittedly, I tend to be heavy handed, but the black wire is way less forgiving.

The rose turned out better than I thought. I guess the wire gods were on my side while I twisted the wires, because it just worked out perfectly.

I’m really enjoying wrapping the tumble stones. Their Freeform shapes give me a challenge and teach me things all at the same time. I’m excited to order some cabochons soon. I think they will be a little easier to wrap because of their flat backs and perfected shape.
