Yesterday I kicked off New York Agriculture in the Classroom's Agriculture Literacy Week by reading this year's book to Kindergarteners in my school district. "Seasons on the Farm" takes the reader on a seasonal adventure of the happenings on a farm. I shared some of the feed we produce and also shared a ribbon, just like the one in the book. The kids created these cute info wheels and got to draw details from the story. I am excited to read to and visit more classes next week! 🐮🌱🚜

The winter months can give us a moment to catch our breath and actually relax (as long as it doesn'tsnow too much). We are blessed to have friends that are willing to care for the cows while we're away. 🌞 The sunshine and warm was much needed and now we're looking even more forward to spring! We're happy to be home!
