He's growing the right way—adding muscle, maintaining good condition, and showing the structural soundness and performance we like to see.

PLEASE STOP RELEASING BALLOONS!!
We found this balloon in our pasture today. What may seem like a harmless way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion can become a serious hazard when it lands on someone else's property.
For livestock owners, balloons and their strings can be dangerous if cattle ingest them, potentially causing injury or even death.
Your celebration shouldn't become a risk to our animals.

We are a little late making this post, but a few weeks ago we welcomed a special new heifer calf to the herd.
Her mama traces back to one of our original starter cows from the Watterson Farm, making this little girl part of a legacy that means so much to us.
What makes her arrival even more meaningful is that she was born on the very same day we said goodbye to a man we deeply admired, Mr. Jim Watterson.
He was a farmer in every sense of the word—hardworking, humble, wise, and someone who genuinely loved farm life. He taught by example and left an impact that will not be forgotten.
While there is sadness in his passing, there's also something beautiful about new life arriving on the same day.
It feels like a reminder that the story continues, one generation at a time.

After Tom seeded the bare spots in the pasture after burning brush piles, they trailed behind us like devoted fans (or critics) not sure which 😜
