The Midrasha at Safra was established On October 26, 2009 as a comprehensive Jewish Women's Center in the greater Miami, Florida area, catering to Jewish women of all ages, especially those of Syrian ancestry, and provide for their varied needs, including their spiritual,social, and emotional needs. As such, our programs attract a diverse crowd, from the totally unaffiliated to women with a religious background.

General information

Weekly Monday Lectures:our flagship program is Our Monday night class, where there are anywhere from 100-200 women in attendance. The program revolves around the lectures of our community's Torah scholars such as Rabbi Ephraim Shapiro, from Congregation Shaarei Tefila, and Rabbi Yosef Galimidi, from Beit Edmond J. Safra, and the founding Rabbi, Rabbi Yaakov Yagen. In addition, the Midrasha presents a monthly guest speaker. These lectures serve to motivate and inspire our participants Jewish women and connect them to the beauty of Judaism.
