With our recent move to our new place, we are sadly having to put all of our leather making on hold. We are trying to get everything sorted out of the garage at the moment but it is taking time. As soon as we can get the garage cleared out we will be working on turning it into our permanent leather shop. We are looking forward to being back up and running but we are also taking this time to enjoy our new home.

We are officially in a boutique store. We have wallets, journals, bracelets, keychains, bookmarks, and candles at The Rustic Korner in Avery.

This is the last of our remaining inventory, but I will be working at getting more leather items in stock very soon. Some of the items coming will be more field journals, wallets, hot mats, mouse pads, and more. We truly look forward to working with at The Rustic Korner.

Well, I think I have the garage ready or as ready as it's going to be for now. I still need a few extension cords for our LED lights, but hopefully, I will be getting the leather back out this weekend or next week.

Still have a lot to unpack and organize, but it will all come together in time. Can't wait to get back at it. Now, I'm going to figure out what my next project will be.

Sometimes, we get to do more than play with leather, even if it is just for us. Just finished 8 point for my mom .shirley and my, .hamric 7 point from this year. I'm very happy with how they turned out. Who said girls can't do skull mounts? 😉

We are currently unable to take in any more orders. We are in the process of packing our home and getting ready to make our move to Avery on the 23rd. We are taking this time to relocate and spend much-needed quality time with our families.

We will start retaking orders after the first of the year. We apologize for the inconvenience but we look forward to reopening in 2024. Get ready for a lot of new items to hit our shop in the New Year.

We would also like to thank each and every one that has supported us this year. Dark Pine Farm LLC would not be possible without ya'l.

Well I guess it's story time since it sounds like the cat is out of the bag lol

On Monday, Nov 20th Mom sent me a picture of Avery ISD's post on Facebook. It was the post that they were looking for a new Police Chief, so Brian sent in his resume. The next morning he had an interview scheduled.

Friday Brian was offered the job, and as soon as his background check returns, we will move to Avery.

We are beyond grateful for the opportunity that Avery ISD has given us and so ready to finally be able to come home. We can't wait to start this new journey and to finally be back near our families.

We had to be on the road today, but we have the Winter Wonderland event tomorrow at Whitewright, so I brought work with me.

I've had people question if I actually make my bracelets, and yes, I do, lol. While the bracelets are not on the website, yet, I do have them at every event we attend. I really enjoy making them and find it relaxing.
