I was down for a few days with a nasty cold virus. Definitely not optimal especially during canning season. Now I am playing catch up. Pasta sauce was already in the canner today now I am cooking down salsa and cowboy candy. Next up smoked diced poblanos.

We have hot banana peppers, jalapeños, assorted cherry tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, green bell peppers, zucchini, and yellow summer squash today!

The Farm Stand is Open today from 9-7!!! We have zucchini, yellow summer squash, bell peppers, jalapeños, hot banana peppers, slicing tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes. Last year I planted multiple types of swamp milkweed from seed. This year several came up and were huge and beautiful attracting all the pollinators. Today we found they are covered in monarch caterpillars! We even found a chrysalis!
