We are CLOSED already. Everything was picked in the first hour.

Tunnel 3 wasn't ripe yet, but people picked there anyway, so I'll post availability IF there's anything left.

Michigan cherries and blueberries will be available in 3-4 weeks.

Good news (and some sad, as well). We are opening a few days early for picking, as the heat did ripen things a little faster. So THURSDAY, JUNE 18th at 8:30AM, we will open. Both tunnels 1 and 2 will be open for picking.

The sad news is, we will likely be open just a couple of hours before everything is picked. The first tunnel had a good amount of Black Pearl and Summit, but it appears someone came in and helped themselves in the last day or two, because they're gone. No empty stems on the trees that would indicate critters. And, in the 3rd tunnel where nothing is ripe yet, there are piles of cherries on the ground with the stems on, suggesting someone picked them and then tossed them once they realized they weren't ripe yet.

Sad day in the world when all the hard work we put into the farm gets stolen from us, and from our customers who patiently wait for the cherries to ripen. We are rethinking operating as a u-pick farm from now on, but that's a conversation for another day.

So, come on out Thursday morning and pick what you can. We anticipate the trees will be cleared in the first few hours. As always, watch this page for updates as the other varieties ripen.

The heat is helping to speed up ripening. We MAY open 1-2 days early -- maybe end of next week? Watch this page for updates!

Everyone keeps coming out or calling... as a reminder, CHERRIES DO NOT RIPEN UNTIL MID-JUNE. Our usual opening day is June 21st and, AS ALWAYS, we will update this page with dates and times for picking.

Update on tarts: there are VERY FEW on any of our trees. We've started to check availability in Michigan but it's far too early to tell there yet. We will keep you posted.

Update: We're going to have some cherries this year! We were hurt by those two frosty nights during bloom, but there are some varieties that were set before it got here, so we're going to put up the plastic and plan on opening mid- to late-June, as usual. Stay tuned to this page for updates as we get closer.

WANT TO HELP? We need 4-5 strong, able guys to help put up the plastic in the next couple of days. We'll start early and work until wind prevents us from stretching out the plastic. We pay $11/hour. Send me a direct message if you can assist.
