A "plethora of peaches" should be available in this Saturday's farmstand ... I would market them as "snacking peaches" because of their dimunitive size, but alas, as in previous years, I just failed to thin them early enough. But they were practically picking themselves this evening, and based on the smell, their taste will be outstanding. Message us if you are interested in pick-your-own, it doesn't get any easier than this!

I am not a fan of plastic, but I am unaware of squeezable glass. The new container is in response to customer request. These will go fast at this morning’s farm stand. $6 ($1 credit when you return the container) ... a huge value compared to -$25 for allergy pills, and hyper local means it targets the pollen in your backyard!

I have always been a fan of the underdog... so thinning the apple and peach trees is always a sad event: picking off the 3 weaklings so that the strong thrives. This evening’s thinning results from just 4 apple trees.

Only solace is the thinned fruit doesn’t go to waste: the pigs love it!
