We are one step closer to retiring the gas burners here at the Breakaway Brew Haus. Four electric elements are ready for the control panel that's on order.

Six soldiers cleaned and ready for beer. It certainly has been awhile if I have six empty kegs. Yesterday's batch will only fill two. Hmmm... I guess a Haus IPA will need to be brewed next.

While doing a little inventory cleanup, I found some older >9 month old bottles of Bourbon Porter. ~10 min after putting them in the fridge, one exploded. They are all likely ticking time bombs of beer. We'll see.

That 6 day bike ride certainly held up any brewing activities here at the HBH. I have a Citra/Cascade Rye IPA on deck for the next brew.

The HBH brewing equipment has taken a bit of a backseat recently. An upcoming 6-day bike ride in CO has me focusing on riding over brewing. A brew day will have to be scheduled soon. Oh yes it will be scheduled...
