It was a surprise to have our first Monarch butterfly sighting of the season over the weekend. It fluttered around clumsily seeking the perfect landing spot as we tried to capture a photo. We are hopeful this is the first of many we'll see as the Monarchs continue their migration and benefit from our efforts the past few years to provide a safe, native habitat for them. 🌱Farm-To-Salad.com 🥗

It was a productive and award winning October for the farm! At the beginning of the month we were honored once again to be recognized at the 2024 Virginia State Fair for the produce we grow for our 🌱 Farm-To-Salad.com 🥗weekly salad delivery service.

Just last weekend we won the "Best Decorations" at the King William County 🍬Trunk or Treat🎃 where we had the pleasure of giving out candy to the kids and meeting some of our incredible customers!
