Well! It looks like all of our hard work this year is finally reflected in the harvest for the week!

We'll have LOADS of LEEKS!
A SLEW of SALADS!
A BUNCH of BOK CHOY!
And a HEAP of HERBS!
Along with lots of other great things.

Check us out at Cowtown Farmers Market on Saturday, May 30th from 8am-12pm. The vendor line up for the day looks fantastic as well 🤗

We had the opportunity to enjoy a delightful dinner at for their Around the Farm menu. Our produce was used throughout the menu along with several other local farms for a beautiful and delicious evening.

Chef Molly and Kyle at Ellerbe purchase produce from us and other local farms to create seasonal dishes throughout the year. They really do a wonderful job adjusting to the fluctuating availability of different items and are really able to go with flow. Truly farm to to table which is hard to find in DFW.

I'm grateful we got the chance to experience their wonderful creations tonight along with the wine pairings. Everything was great.

It's time for another great weekend at the farmers market! Looks like we might even have some decent weather 🤗😊

Come visit us at Cowtown Farmers Market on Saturday, April 11th from 8am-12pm. More of our vendors are attending now, so we're expanding our setup again to take up the whole market lot. Parking will be available at Splash Dayz, Veterans Park along with grass parking nearby.

We've got some great spring produce for you. A few regular items are missing but should be back in a couple weeks.

THREE WAYS TO USE FRISEE ENDIVE

Calling all salad lovers! 🥗📢
Are you looking for new salad ideas? Do you love to try fun flavor combinations and try new foods?
Endive is for you!

We grow quite a bit of frisee endive alongside our traditional head lettuces here at Hollow Trace Market Farm.

- It grows GREAT in the cooler month of the year
- It has a sweet/bitter flavor with a delightful crunch
- If you're a fan of arugula, you may want to give endive a try
- It can be used raw or lightly cooked

Check out the recipes in this post to get some ideas on how you might want to enjoy some frisee endive!

We'll have endive every week at Farmers Market and every 1st and 3rd Saturday at Farmer's Market. Grab a head to try while the harvest lasts (usually a couple weeks into May - before it gets too hot).
