Welp, the last time I got on a horse was Aug 1st......today is Aug 22nd. I definitely felt the 21 days of not riding today and of course I picked the tallest horse in the barn.

What started out as a low grade fever with bodyaches turned into 104° fever with a pounding headache and neither would go away. Went to the ER and they said I needed to stay overnight which turned into 4 days in the PCU. Turns out it was either typhus or rocky mountain spotted fever. Either way Doxycycline was the answer, so after 5 doses of Doxy I am finally on the mend praise God 🙌🏾

I am extremely blessed with some awesome family/friends who brought me snacks/food and more importantly great company. Thank you also to my awesome clients who have stuck with me through this.

As a 1st generation rancher/farmer/cowboy I've learned a lot and still have a ton to learn. I have no preconceived notions about how things are supposed to be done or have been done so that allows me to think out of the box a bit. Regenerative Ag caught my attention from the 1st time I heard about it so I've tried to put in practice as much as I can with what I have. This particular pasture has been resting since the middle of last summer and the benefits are huge as you can see. Excited to start the summer in this pasture and see how far we can go before having to supplement feed.
