As a 1st generation rancher/farmer/cowboy I've learned a lot and still have a ton to learn. I have no preconceived notions about how things are supposed to be done or have been done so that allows me to think out of the box a bit. Regenerative Ag caught my attention from the 1st time I heard about it so I've tried to put in practice as much as I can with what I have. This particular pasture has been resting since the middle of last summer and the benefits are huge as you can see. Excited to start the summer in this pasture and see how far we can go before having to supplement feed.

And just like that all spring calves are on the ground and they are healthy praise the Lord! 🙌🏾 These heifers are doing great at their new job as mommas, had no trouble calving and are excellent milkers. Now we wait for the fall babies. 🤠🐮

Blessed to celebrate another mother's day with this wonderful lady that I get to call my mom ❤️

We took pictures when we 1st got to the church this AM and she told me she wanted to stand up for a picture and I said we better not 😬 Then during worship she wanted to stand so I helped her up and she stood for an entire song! After service I asked if she wanted to take another picture standing and she said yes so we did. Then she wanted Cracker Barrel 😂

LEGALLY GORGEOUS aka Walter aka Wally aka Wallace is looking for his new address. Walter is a 5 yr old APHA bay overo gelding, approx 15-15.1hh and weighs in at approx 1200lbs. He is fancy broke, neck reins, rides in romals or in a halter, flying lead changes, good stopper (just took sliders off), easy to ride and be around. Has been shown some in the stock horse/ranch horse classes, used as a turn back horse, been used to tag and doctor calves, started on the roping dummy, used as a lesson horse for intermediate riders, was used to give pony rides to over 100 kiddos at a rodeo Bible camp. Does great in a stall or out in the pasture, he is 100% all gelding with a ton of personality. He is shod and has some minor maintenance, PPEs are welcomed. Located in Azle, TX 16k OBO, negotiable.

And another healthy bull calf born sometime today 🙌🏾 Saul got the honors of tagging their very 1st calf from one of their heifers. Only 1 more baby to go and we'll be done until fall calving.

Found a new heifer calf right before round 2 of the storms today 🙌🏾 This new momma is doing such a great job. Only 2 more babies to go!

The storms this past weekend were a doozy. Praise the Lord that the only damage we suffered was loss of power overnight ...

The storms this past weekend were a doozy. Praise the Lord that the only damage we suffered was loss of power overnight here at the farm. Now one of our little leases down the road with some heifers on it had quite a few trees down on fences but no one got out. Thankful for a good crew that made quick work of it. Now if these heifers will hurry up and release the hostages 😂
