💧🌾 A Little Love Letter to Our River & Our Farming Community 🌾💧

As we come to our last 2 days at Honey Stand and move into farmers market life, there’s something weighing heavy on my heart this year… our water. 😢
Many of us farmers are already watching the river levels closely, and seeing thatbthe moutains have no snow.....and the reality is pretty scary. There’s a real possibility our river could struggle this summer if we don’t all work together and stay mindful.
So this is just a gentle reminder from one local farm to another:
If you can shut your irrigation water off even one day early..…18 hours early......
If you can rotate water a little tighter…if you can repair leaks.....If you can slow your flow.......
If you can conserve in even the smallest way…
A bunch of combined small efforts, multiplied across our local farming community, could make a huge difference this summer. 💙
We all depend on this land.
Our animals depend on it.
Our crops depend on it.
Our future generations depend on it.
This isn’t about blame or judgment — farming is hard, and every drop matters to all of us. This is simply a call for community, cooperation, and awareness as we head into what may be a very dry season.
Let’s protect the river that feeds our valleys, nourishes our orchards, grows our food, and supports our families. 🌱🐝🌾

You guys… I can hardly believe we are here already. This is officially our LAST WEEK open at the Happy Pear Honey Stand before we pack it up and head into full-on MARKET SEASON! 🌻🍯🚜

Thank you to every customer, every supporter, every person who shared a post, brought back jars, bought honey, grabbed eggs, came to workshops, attended World Bee Day, or simply stopped in to say hello. This little business has grown because of this amazing community, and we are so incredibly grateful for every single one of you. 🥹💛

What an absolutely beautiful World Bee Day 2026. 🐝💛
My heart is so incredibly full after today. Once again, our community showed up with so much love, kindness, support, and excitement, and I truly cannot thank you all enough. Hosting World Bee Day here at our little farm is something that means so much to me personally, because this is the place where I find peace — and seeing so many families, students, friends, and fellow bee lovers gather here today was simply magical.
This event is built on love for bees, education, community, and connection. Our goal has always been to create a welcoming space where anyone interested in bees, Honey, pollination, farming, or nature can come learn, ask questions, and feel accepted. Whether you are a seasoned beekeeper or someone who just loves honey, you are welcome here in this little bee community we're building..... Always. 🐝🌻
A huge thank you goes out to our incredible beekeeping friends, volunteers, vendors, educators, and supporters who helped make this day possible. Events like this truly take a village, and we are beyond grateful for every single person who poured their heart into today.
I also want to personally thank everyone who attended, shared photos, tagged us on social media, and helped spread the message about the importance of bees and pollinators. That support means the world to our small business. We are officially less than 30 followers away from 5,000 followers on Facebook, and when we hit that milestone, we’ll be giving away a beautiful Happy Pear gift basket! 🎉🍯
Today was emotional in the best way. It was peaceful, joyful, educational, and full of love. I truly believe we were blessed with beautiful energy and spiritual presence of Enrique and Amber DeVitto throughout the day, and I feel incredibly thankful for the opportunity to host this event each year in honor of them.❤️🥰
As we begin planning for World Bee Day 2027, we will likely make a few adjustments to registration and attendance policies. This year, we had several reserved spots that unfortunately went unused, which can be difficult for a small business when preparing supplies, food, seating, and educational materials in advance. Next year, we may move toward a small prepaid registration system to help us better prepare and continue offering a high-quality experience for everyone involved while keeping the event sustainable for our business. That being said we will have left over WORLD BEE DAY GIFT BAGS For sale at the stand this week while supplies last. $12
We learned so much this year, and we are already excited to make next year even better. 💛
