Gnome update....Since the Maplewood Farm Petting Zoo is closed our gnomes ended up at Rush Lake and seen lots of wildlife. They have a plan today to enjoy the warm weather and go where they can feel like kids again!!

Good afternoon all my people!! We officially have names for our traveling gnomes! Everyone had such great suggestions and that made it hard to choose. Morell Equipment employees took a vote and the names that won are......Sherlock Gnomes and his lady friend Glitterdust! Congratulations to Kelly Tenbush Gilbert, Patti Zoldos and Brian Lee their names are the winners, you can all stop in and grab your prize and your name will be entered into our fall frenzy drawing! Our gnomes are all packed and ready for their trip to Kinde. Stay tuned for clues to where they're going to be hiding!

Good afternoon all!! I have been thinking and I think our gnomes need names. I'm going to make a contest out of this. Whoever's name/names get picked you will recieve a prize. There are 2 gnomes so we need to come up with 2 names. These gnomes will be the main character in our scavenger hunts this summer. They will be hidden in Kinde this weekend and on MONDAY we will announce the first clues to where they're hiding. Comment your name ideas and we will go from there. Thank you for playing along and for your patience while we figure out the scavenger hunt and the prizes. Fall frenzy we are going to have another big drawing and will be giving out some more prizes! It could be another mower or maybe a kids 4 wheeler the prize will be revealed before the drawing ends. The more players the better so spread the word lets get everyone involved and outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

Here is a little fun fact about Kinde....The town was founded by John Kinde in the 1800's. He established a lumber yard, grain elevator and a general store. My little gnome will be hiding somewhere in Kinde this weekend. While we are waiting for the green light I thought it would be cool to do some fun facts of the town where our gnome is hiding.

I want this scavenger hunt to be part of all of huron county small businesses. That being said I am still working and waiting for a few of those businesses to respond. That being said the town this hunt is focused on is Kinde. The prize will include a treats and discounts from local businesses. Instead of hiding a rock I have a gnome. It will be hidden in kinde. I will post hints to where it will be and whoever finds it will bring it in and grab their prize! Until everything is in order we will post some like pop quiz questions having to do with Kinde. Thank you all for being patient the vision is there but the timing didn't work.
