Michelle’s Flowers

Moving to Baden almost fifteen years ago from rural Beaver County was quite a change for me . I went from having over four acres to a couple lots at 312 Camilla St. Immediately I found our neighbors to be wonderful and kind people. My gardens was what I missed most during this transition to living in town. One of our neighbors tilled our first vegetable garden during those first years and thankfully has done so each year. Since that first garden I began planting everything from vegetables to shrubs on our corner lot.
About eight years ago I started learning everything I could about growing cut flowers, that journey continues today. From the starting of seeds in February to digging up tubers in November. It is a hard and rewarding job but well worth the work to see such beautiful flowers arrive each season. I try to add more of a selection each year and also learn from my failures which there have been a few. I keep trying and think the successes show up in each new bouquet.
Meeting Wendy Elwell this summer when she was looking for vendors for the Baden Farmers Market changed everything for me. I told her about my flowers and since then she has taken them to farmers markets all over the area . She also has them for sale in her own shop at Elwell Farm each week.
This year has been the start of a dream I could only imagine a few years ago. I can now share my flowers that are grown right here in Baden with the whole community. Thank you so much for all the support and encouragement.

Grace Girls Sewing
What started out as a simple love for crafting is growing into something special to me. Grace Girls Sewing is my creative outlet-a hobby where I get to make beautiful, practical, and unique things by hand.
I love creating door bows that add a special touch to any home and can be changed with the seasons, holidays, or simply to match your personal style. I also recently started making reusable paper towels, giving an everyday household item a fun, useful and sustainable twist!
For me crafting is about more than making things. It’s about being creative and bringing love and grace into what I make.

Hello! I'm June Saulen, owner of the Savory Station.
Savory Station is a family-run food truck that’s been passed down through my family since 2017 — first my cousin Natalie, then my sister Gerika, and now me! I brought the truck back home to the Pittsburgh area and gave it my own spin.

I’ve called Ambridge home since 2017 and have spent years in the restaurant industry. I’m excited to now be serving the community through Savory Station!

I have always been creative and did a ton of art related things growing up. I drew freehand mostly and was into graphic arts as I got older. I worked for my school district in high school running their news letters and stationary on old printing presses doing everything from typesetting, darkroom, burning print plates to running multi color printing projects. I wanted to pursue college graphic design career but life had other plans for me.
This brings me to this new years, I made a new year resolution to do something new. That led me to 3D printing and design. I originally was only going to make decor for my super hero themed game room. However, when I thought of all the possibilities of things that I could create, That is when I decided to do this not only for myself but for others. I like working with my hands and creating things. Which led me to say to myself “What else can I use to make stuff?” Which put me into sublimation. After I got my feet wet, I was on a crafting journey to see what else. I then got a laser engraver/cutter. I got into doing engraving and cutting wood and said what else. I got a Cricut for Father’s Day one year and started making cardstock crafts and car decals and stickers. I progressed into HTV but felt limited. I bought a DTF printer. I printed and made transfers and some shirts but found that it takes a bit of maintaining, so I have that idle at the moment. I try to push myself on what I can make but also try to find stuff to offer that’s different or something people might be looking for. I really do hope I can help Cre8 something special for as many people as I can or help them find something they might be looking for.
