Everyone complains about how much hay or anything else costs, (and we do too) but here is a great example of why……… $627.00 for this simple little part. This simple part loves to take a vacation about once a year……. This week we have walked out of the dealer with 2 boxes that are around the same size and can be both carried together one handed and was close to 2k just in the 2 boxes. Not to mention labor and supplies used to clean, fix and correct the problem at hand. These parts are going on a 15 year old tractor, so its not like its all brand new stuff. Alot of things have gotten so far out of hand that all its doing is crippling everything and everyone involved. Regardless of the size of your operation it just takes piles of money to operate anymore on a per unit basis. Just things to think about while your driving down the road.

2022 will definitely be an interesting year farming will all the severe price increases, but i'm more worried about 2023. At least this year we have farming inputs available to buy, just at a much higher cost. Unless something changes, 2023 will be the year availability.. Or should I say, the lack of availability of farming inputs.
