We offered this last year and it was a hit! Joining up with Skinner Farms and Bluegrass Beef to offer Christmas gifts of our Pork, the Skinner's Chicken, and the Ballard's Beef. It's really great for that hard to buy for person, or someone who shares the passion of local food and supporting local farm families!

What an honor today has been! Volunteers from Farm Credit Mid-America and the Kentucky Association of Foodbanks joined hands and hearts and harvested LOTS of nearing-the-end-of-the season fresh vegetables. Incredible.

Cucumber season is upon us! If you would like a bushel of cucumbers to turn into pickles or relish, here is your chance for a bargain. They are "seconds" of our slicing cucumbers, rather than pickling cukes, but I know from the generosity of others' they are great to use! Also, we have additional basil right now. If you want either, send me a message and I can bring to the Simpsonville Farmers Market Saturday morning for your pick-up (9-1:00), or we can make other arrangements.

We are pairing with a few great friends (one family raises chickens, the other beef). This would be a wonderful gift for most anyone on your list! It's all Shelby County raised, by farm families like ours!

Here they are! We have teamed up with Bluegrass Beef and Courtney Farms to offer these great holiday bundles! We are so excited to work with these great farms to offer some local, farm raised, delicious meat all wrapped up in one package and ready to give to your friends, family, or just to keep for yourself! Packages can be added to if something that you want is missing. No substitutions though please. Bundles will be available for pickup at our farm anytime next week. I will also do a drop off next Thursday evening in Shelbyville if you would like to pickup then. As always, thank you so much for supporting local farms!
