Foal Friday: Fandango PVF 🧡

Chestnut c**t by Fabregas out of Elite Mare EM Won Flair — and when the Hanoverian inspector saw him this summer, it was the walk that got the comment. Anyone who breeds dressage horses knows: you can improve a trot, but a walk is born. Trot and canter aren't bad either.

Foaling season 2026 is a wrap with the arrival of a fantastic repeat! Last but certainly not least, we are proud to introduce number 17!

🧡🧡🧡

Our wonderful imported dam Ay Split (Alabaster/Sir Donnerhall I) delivered a strapping handsome c**t by Velantis N (Vitalis/Floriscount) on July 19th, finishing our season with a bang (and glorious ears 🐰😍). Our final Baby "V" is tall, red, blingy, and sweet!

While he has a good deal unfolding to do yet, Baby V is well-muscled and powerfully built with excellent bone, harmonious proportions, and a striking presence. Best of all, he has inherited his sire's fabulous ears. 🤭🤗 Right now we enjoy his natural balance in his impressive number of daily gleeful walk-canter (and halt-gallop 🤭🏎💨) transitions as he learns to organize his daunting length of leg.

Baby V is a full sibling to last year's Via Vecchia PVF, who quickly sold to a discerning rider at just a few weeks old. He is also a maternal sibling to our own Florentina (by Floriscount) who was the 2025 USDF Reserve Champion Materiale Horse of the Year for 3 year old Fillies as well as the Champion for 3 year old fillies Materiale with Westfalen NA Verband under the guidance of Kaitlin Blythe.

This is Marumba — a 2026 filly by McLaren, out of our mare Laika ASD.
Laika’s son Ohio is in Verden this week, selected for the Dutch team at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses with Kirsten Brouwer. Same mare. Marumba is his half-sister.
That’s the reason we bought Laika. You buy a damline for what it has already produced, and this one has produced a horse good enough to be picked for a national team on the world stage.
