If the teenagers don't give me gray hair, the goat kids will.... came home yesterday to one of them screaming his head off.."mmmmaaaaaahhhhh!"
Got into the pen and here's Saddles (yes, I know I said I wasn't naming them...) with his head STUCK in the hay rack, screaming like a banshee!
Oui Vey! He sounded a little hoarse the rest of the day, no telling how long he was stuck there....

from October 20th...
Woke up to a chicken semi-massacre this morning....lost 3 to a fox who found his way in to the coop.
I have a heavy heart because one was my little C.B. (Crooked Beak), who has thrived in spite of having said affliction. And from whom I derived our home brew "brewery" name CBB, Crooked Beak Brewery.....
