Returning in time for the holiday weekend: A Field Full Of Love, our barrel-fermented b**r that explores the incorporation of second-use fruit.

A Field Full of Love is inspired by piquette, the wine-like beverage made with fruit that is reused after its primary maceration, extraction, and fermentation during winemaking. It’s made by adding water to fruit pomace (the leftover skins, seeds, and stems of the fruit) and allowing wild yeast to ferment what remains of the sugars. This process produces a lively, fizzy, low alcohol beverage historically consumed by vineyard workers during the day.

This year’s A Field Full of Love features second-use cherries that were used for our latest batch of Lovely Cherries. We chose a blend of barrel-fermented table saison to further macerate & mature with this fruit. The b**r extracted the remaining flavor and substantial color from these used cherries over the course of several months. After transferring the b**r off the cherries, we steeped the b**r with locally grown lavender.

You get lavender on the nose, followed by tasting notes of cherry skin, cinnamon, grape soda + blueberry. It’s lively, with beautiful acidity, and a perfect mix between floral + fruity.

Cans + draft are now available. ❤️

At The End Of Every Road has returned. 🍺

A b**r to bridge the seasons. Celebrating the end of the season—another wild Door County summer.

Inspired by Festbier, the lighter-colored, golden l***r that has been popularized at Oktoberfest in Munich. You can think of Festbier has a stronger, richer Helles l***r. In contrast to Märzen—the other main type of b**r served at Oktoberfest—Festbier is lighter and less toasty.

Brewed with Pilsner + Munich malts from Caleb Michalke. Hopped throughout the boil with Wisconsin-grown Mt. Hood. Open-fermented with our house l***r yeast. Naturally carbonated & cold conditioned for many weeks in a horizontal tank.

At The End Of Every Road has a rich, bready malt character, with an underpinning of sweetness, and notes of Cara Cara orange, floral honey, pear, and a touch of fall spice. 5.5% ABV.

At The End Of Every Road will be one of two b**rs served via gravity cask at our Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday 9/26! 🎉

Available on side-pull & in cans in our taproom starting this weekend.

This week: Harvesting goldenrod. ⚡️

The native plant with bright, fluffy yellow flowers that is currently lighting up the Door County landscape.

This goldenrod will be used in our fourth iteration of County Goldenrod—one of our oak-fermented saisons that highlight singular native plants. Some of the harvested plants will be added mid-boil to provide unique, structuring bitterness. The majority of our harvest will be used post-boil for aromatic and flavor contributions—citrus overtones & complex herbaceous notes.

On draft now—Visible Horizons Wild Rice L***r, brewed in collaboration with our friends McFleshman's Brewing Company in Appleton.

Visible Horizons is a pale l***r showcasing Midwestern Wild Rice from TNT Wild Rice in Eagle River, WI (the same wild rice that we use in our kitchen).

Wild rice brings a delicate nuttiness, a complex fruit profile, a beautiful floral quality, and a touch of umami that sets it apart from our other pale l***rs.

The b**r also features undermodified Pilsner malt from Caleb Michalke and Wisconsin-grown Mt. Hood hops—a simple set of ingredients to let the wild rice shine. It was fermented in an open fermenter with McFleshman’s house l***r yeast.

Available in our taproom now, on draft only.

Pair it with our Friday Fish Fry TONIGHT!

Hefeweizen has returned, to help you cruise through the last month of summer. 🌾

Over Past The Hills is our German-inspired Wheat B**r. Distinguished by the unique flavor contributions of a particular Bavarian yeast—that eloquently layers notes of clove + banana.

A wheat-heavy grain bill provides an ultra smooth, fluffy mouthfeel. Open, free-rise fermentation encourages maximum yeast health and expression.

Over Past The Hills is naturally hazy, soft, and dry enough to crush a few. Notes of clove, overripe banana, lemon zest + papaya. Just 4.8%.

Cans + draft are now available in the taproom!💥

PEAK SUMMER. 🍑

And just like that we have another release in our Lovely Fruit series for you all for the second half of summer. Lovely Peaches features local Door County peaches grown by our friends at Barnard Farms.

The base b**r for Lovely Peaches is a blend of A Lovely Place To Be + a variety of other mixed culture saison recipes, that were all fermented & conditioned for an extended time in oak barrels. We allowed the blended b**r to referment and condition on whole peaches from last year’s harvest for several months, before packaging & naturally conditioning in the can + keg since last winter.

This year’s Lovely Peaches is beaming with nuanced peach flavora. We get notes of peach skin, vanilla, yuzu & melon, with medium acidity.

Cans + draft are available now! 😋

Raspberry Season! 😍

This year’s Lovely Raspberries features the most beautiful black raspberries grown by our Baileys Harbor neighbors About Thyme Farm.

It’s super jammy, with fun acidity & notes of robust raspberry + lime zest, finishing with a creamy mouthfeel.

Black raspberries impart a super dark red hue and punchy raspberry flavor in the b**r. Each year, Lovely Raspberries continues to be the most fruit-forward b**r we make. And although we typically prefer our fruit b**rs light, with seamlessly balanced fruit + b**r character—this one’s pretty damn special.

Lovely Raspberries (like all of our fruit b**rs) is made just once a year using freshly harvested whole fruit. We blend select barrels onto this fruit and allow the b**r to referment on and extract flavor from the fruit over many months. We then allow the b**r to naturally carbonate & condition in the can/keg over many more months. It’s a long, slow process—but the results are well worth it.

This year’s Lovely Raspberries, in particular, is an extremely small batch of b**r. And once it’s gone, it’s gone. Grab some while you can.

Cans + draft are available starting TODAY 7/30. ❤️
