Tell yer Moms!
Get ready, cuz we’re bring ingback an old favorite: 🌿Motel CitroΓ«n🌿

Motel CitroΓ«n is a simple and delicious beer created with a malt bill that is heavy on malted wheat to add a crisp, crackery malt flavor. After the boil, but before transfer, we add 5 lbs of lemon verbena to the kettle. The beer is fermented with one of our favorite Norwegian kveik strains. Kveik (actually pronounced β€˜kwike’) is the name for Norwegian farmhouse yeast strains that have been used by Norwegian brewers to produce family beer recipes for many hundreds of years. These yeast strains are extremely resilient and durableβ€”they can handle fermentation at very hot temperatures (we ferment around 95-100 F) without producing any off flavors. This allows beer to ferment rapidlyβ€”we can turn a beer over in 8 days as opposed to 14-20 days, like most of our other beers. Lime juice is added right at the end of fermentation. The kveik strain we use in Motel CitroΓ«n provides a hint of lemon, lime, and orange, which pairs perfectly with the lemon verbena and lime. This is a great beer for people looking for something lighter.
