My career as a production chef isn't an easy job. But I can easily say I have the best chef career. My kitchen is always someplace different, whether I'm somewhere in Central Wa, or cooking in Pioneer Square at 1 am, I am always guaranteed to be greeted by happy crew faces when they see it's me who will be feeding them. I don't know many jobs where each day you work you're met with appreciation.
Then at the end of each 16-20 hour work day, I come home to my island, which is my happy place.
Life is good, if you let it be. 👩🍳
