Took the saran wrap off the first plate of ganache to scoop, weigh and roll (yes...each truffle center is done this way) and this is what I saw. What a great way to start Pink Peony in 2017! I'm a firm believer that messages and signs are sent to us in the most unusual of ways. My take on this: perhaps it's Michael telling me he's here❤️; perhaps reminding me and others to love like there is no tomorrow; and telling me how much I love and appreciate my Pink Peony supporters!! Happy 2017 everyone🎊

In the process of dipping 'phase four' for Xmas 2015!!! This will make 8800 truffles. I made hot apple cider and may have added a bit of Jack. Delicious! I think we deserve it.

I was interviewed awhile back for this book and they took photos. Co-authors Cornelia Gallen-Kimmell and Cordula Drossel-Brown agreed with the publisher when asked if I would mind PINK PEONY TRUFFLES on the COVER!!! Hellooo!?! He thought they were the most beautiful! Plus we have two pages on the inside. What an honor!

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday! Newest flavor on sale today at Bon Bon on Bainbridge Island!! BANANAS FOSTER! I've had many attempts over the last couple of years trying to get this flavor just right! A velvety white ganache with banana, dark rum, a bit of butter and a pinch of cinnamon and then dipped in bittersweet. Enjoy and as always thank you for all the support!
