Autumn is always a tough time of year for me. It’s sad to see all of the annuals and dahlias die. There is a season for everything though. They can’t keep pushing blooms all year long. Everyone needs a rest before the blank slate of spring is here and we get to try it all again. Ps it’s mum season now! Aren’t they beautiful?!

Do I choose the work horse, the one that pumps out buckets of blooms consistently every year, the diva that gives a showstopper only every once in a while, the one with the longest vase life, am I feeling moody and dark or soft and pastel? Good morning from the dahlia field! I have a few bunches of just dahlias and a few mixed bouquets for the flower shed today Friday 10/3. I will have them out at 3pm until sold out.
