Greetings my friends!

My surgery went well enough, and the hope is to be back at the farm by the beginning of November.

I know that's still a long way off. So, I am going to do something I have never done before, and request that if you are in need of mead NOW, that you go to Schramm's Mead https://store.schrammsmead.com/storefront.aspx and check out the offerings there.

I will not call Mr. Schramm a competitor, as wee all know, I Have No competition! While I have not met the man in person, he is a rival that I respect for his great love of the craft, and the pride and care he takes in making his products. A recent health scare has sidelined Mr Schramm and I want to do what I can to help out a fellow mead man, even if it means losing a few sales on my end.

As for Magpie Mead, you can place your orders now, but they wont be delivered until the first week of November.

Your Magnificent Mr. Magpie has matriculating into the honored membership of the mangled meniscus club.

Part of the induction ceremonies include 6 weeks of surgical recovery.

Celebration of this great accomplishment will require an absence from the winery.
